Keratex Mud Shield Powder guards against the effects of mud and water on horses' legs and body. It will thoroughly disinfect the skin areas as well. Unlike creams and ointments which contribute to further softening of the skin, Keratex Mud and Shield Powder allows the skin to breathe while repelling water and mud particles.

Unlike creams and ointments which contribute to further softening of the skin, Keratex Mud and Shield Powder allows the skin to breathe while repelling water and mud particles.
During wet weather mud and water can cause serious problems which affect the skin on horses' legs and body.
Keratex Mud Shield Powder has a unique waterproofing action which simply stops these problems before they start by preventing water from softening the skin. It is this softening effect of continual water saturation which allows mud particles to enter the pores of the skin and cause irritation, which can then lead to further complications. In addition to waterproofing the hide, Keratex Mud Shield Powder also contains a powerful disinfectant to maintain the skin in a healthy condition.
Sold in 450 gm plastic shaker bottles.
DIRECTIONS:
Apply daily by sprinkling onto clean dry legs and body skin. Rub well into the skin against the lay of the hair.
Use Mud Shield Powder to protect existing skin lesions. This will keep them dry and avoid further infection. Dry scabs will form and these should be allowed to drop off naturally.

If you are not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it within 30 days from date received. Please note: item(s) must be new, unused, in original condition and box, including all parts, accessories, and packaging. Please DO NOT SHIP footwear (boots or shoes) in the manufacturer’s original box. Do not write or attach shipping labels to the manufacturer’s original box, you must ship all footwear in a protected box with the original box packed inside.
You must call us at 1.888.653.0026 to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and shipping instructions. Include a copy of the original invoice with your return and write your RA# visibly on the outside of the shipping package and on the packing slip.
